Installation Notes
Clean and inspect mating surfaces for warpage before installation. Replace cylinder head bolts with new ones (sold separately—do not reuse old bolts). Follow factory torque sequence and specifications exactly. Torque head bolts in stages, plus angle tightening as specified.

- Look for "3Y" or "4Y" stamped on the engine block
- Displacement check: 3Y = 2.0L, 4Y = 2.2L
- Models: Hiace, Hilux, Toyota forklifts
- 4-cylinder inline petrol engine (OHV 8-valve)
- Petrol (gasoline) engine, not diesel
