Complete 4D56U Cylinder Head β€” Ready to Install

Brand new complete 4D56Di-T cylinder head for Mitsubishi Triton and Challenger with 2.5L 4-cylinder DOHC turbo diesel engine. Both camshafts and adjustable rocker arms supplied, valves, springs, retainers and seals fitted. VRS head gasket set, TTY head bolts and camshaft lube included. Professionally assembled, valve-to-seat compression tested, and head face checked and refaced if necessary.

Fits: Mitsubishi Triton ML, MN and Challenger PB, PC (2009–2015) β€” Engine code 4D56U, 4D56Di-T, 2.5L DOHC turbo diesel. Suits both 100kW (2WD) and 130kW (4WD) models.

Important: This head suits both the 100kW 2WD and 130kW 4WD variants of the 4D56U engine. The camshafts and adjustable rocker arms are supplied with the head but must be removed prior to fitting the head to the block, then refitted afterwards. Rocker clearances must be set by the installer after assembly β€” this is standard procedure for the 4D56U engine.

The 4D56U uses adjustable rocker arms β€” the camshafts and rockers must be removed to allow the head to be bolted down correctly, then refitted and rocker clearances set by the installer. This is standard procedure for this engine.
